On July 23rd, the Chicago Cubs hosted Notre Dame Night for alumni, family, and friends. President Rev. Robert A. Dowd, C.S.C., threw the first pitch with a roaring ND section cheering him on. Over 330 alumni and friends attended the pregame event at Moe’s Cantina and the Cubs game. The ticket to the game included a special edition green Cubs Notre Dame hat.
The night was sponsored by three of our local alumni clubs. Thank you to the organizers of the Notre Dame Club of Chicago, Notre Dame Club of Lake County, and Saint Mary’s College Chicago East Alumnae Club.
A special thanks to Moe’s Cantina for hosting our Home After the Dome Pregame. We enjoyed great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere on the rooftop. Despite the rain delay, it was still a fantastic evening!
